The delegation was received by the Akyem Maase Traditional Council, led by Osabarima Adu Asare Bosompem III, at the Okofo Palace in Akyem Maase on September 29, 2026. Speaking on behalf of the tourists, the female leader of the delegation said most of the members were Jamaicans whose ancestral lineage could be traced to Ghana.
