E/R:NADMO Vows Action as Akyem Maase Chief Raises Alarm Over Sand Winning on Disaster Risk Reduction Day
The Chief of Akyem Maase, Osabarima Adu Asare Bosompem III, has made a passionate appeal to the Abuakwa South Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Ofori Akins, to take immediate steps to curb rampant sand winning activities in the area. He warned that the unchecked destruction of land could trigger severe environmental disasters and negatively impact agricultural productivity.
