E/R:Akyem Maase Homecoming 2024 Launched to Celebrate Unity and Development
The second edition of the Akyem Maase Homecoming event was officially launched on October 6th, 2024, at Akyem Maase in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana. Organized by The Concerned Citizens of Maase (Truly Maasenians), the event was held under the theme "Together We Build." The short but vibrant ceremony took place at the Akyem Maase funeral grounds and attracted hundreds of attendees from the community. Speaking at the event, Mr. Daniel Ahenkorah, popularly known as De Don, explained that this year’s celebration, scheduled for December, will feature a series of activities, including a health walk, free health screening, a cleanup exercise, and a live band musical concert. He noted that these activities are designed to foster community spirit and encourage active participation among residents.
