President Mahama Reduces Ministries from 30 to 23
In a bold move aimed at streamlining governance and ensuring efficiency, President John Dramani Mahama has issued the Civil Service (Ministries) Instrument, 2025 (E.I. 1), which reduces the number of ministries under the Civil Service from 30 to 23. The announcement was made official through an Executive Instrument dated 9th January 2025.
