E/R: CRIG Ladies Club Climaxes Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Float and Screening at Akyem Bediasi
The Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) Ladies Club has climaxed this year’s Pink Month celebration with a colourful float and a breast cancer screening exercise at Akyem Bediasi on Friday, 31st October 2025. The event, which began with a float through the principal streets of New Tafo, brought together staff of the Cocoa Research Institute and residents to promote breast cancer awareness under the theme “Early Detection Saves Lives — Get Screened.” The Acting Executive Director of CRIG, Dr. Owusu Domfeh, who officially launched the 2025 Pink Month celebration earlier in October, also joined the Ladies Club at the CRIG Directorate to officially bring the month-long campaign to a close.
