E/R:Kwahu West MCE Urges Unity and Peace as National Day of Prayers and Thanksgiving is Marked in Nkawkaw
The Municipal Chief Executive of Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Tamimu Halidu, has called on Ghanaians to use the National Day of Prayers and Thanksgiving as a moment to strengthen unity, peace, and stability in the country. Speaking at the event held under the theme _“Resetting Our Values to Build the Ghana We Want,”_ Hon. Halidu said one of Ghana’s greatest strengths is the religious harmony that exists among Christians, Muslims, and traditionalists. “Ghanaians worship differently but work together as one people,” he stated. “We must continue to nurture a spiritual culture of gratitude, foster unity in diversity, and elevate our national consciousness to appreciate the hand of God in the affairs of the country.” The MCE also stressed the need for vigilance against forces that threaten Ghana’s social cohesion, urging citizens to remain united in purpose as the nation works toward development.
