The Abuakwa North Municipal Health Directorate, in partnership with Star Oil Ghana, successfully organized a free breast cancer screening event at the Akyem Tafo Bethel Presbyterian Church on October 23, 2024. The event was part of activities marking "Pink Month," a global breast cancer awareness month observed annually in October. More than 300 women from the community took advantage of the screening initiative, which was aimed at detecting early signs of breast cancer and offering immediate medical attention where necessary.
