E/R:Bethel Congregation Embarks on Educational Excursion to Parliament, Mausoleum, and Airport

Akyem Asafo, Eastern Region — On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Bethel Congregation – Akyem Asafo, led by Rev. Richard Amponsah Marfo and the church Session, embarked on a memorable educational excursion to three major national landmarks: Parliament House of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and Kotoka International Airport. A total of sixty-eight participants, comprising church leaders and members, took part in the well-organized trip designed to foster civic engagement, cultural appreciation, and fellowship within the congregation. The group was warmly received and taken on guided tours at all three locations. At Parliament House, members gained insight into the legislative process and the essential role of parliamentarians in Ghana’s democracy.
