Abuakwa North Students Shine as Eastern Region Wins 2024 National Math and Science Quiz - Basic Level
In an outstanding display of academic excellence, the Eastern Region team, represented by students from Abuakwa North Municipality, clinched the ultimate prize at the 2024 National Math and Science Quiz (Basic Level) held in Accra on November 5, 2024. The competition, organized by the Korea-Ghana KOICA project, saw fierce rivalry among regional teams, with Eastern Region emerging victorious by a 12-point margin. The triumphant team comprised students from New Tafo CRIG JHS, Osiem Saviour B JHS, and New Tafo Presby JHS, namely Lina Oppong Boahemaa, Benjamin Boakye Kyeremeh, and Gabriella Akyaa Afrane.
