E/R: Kwahu West MCE Urges Residents to Pay Taxes to Fast-Track Development
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, _Hon. Tamimu Halidu_, has called on residents to honor their tax obligations to support development projects across the municipality. He made the appeal during the Assembly’s maiden “Community Engagement” tour, held in five communities: _Abetensu, Nkawana No. 1, Asuoso, Kwahu Nsabaa, and Nkawana No. 2_. The initiative is aimed at getting firsthand feedback on challenges facing residents and to strengthen dialogue between local authorities and community members. Hon. Halidu said the engagement was to present the Assembly’s achievements, ongoing projects, and interventions, while also listening to residents’ concerns, suggestions, and aspirations.
