In a bid to rally support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2024 general elections, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Abuakwa North, Hon. Dr. Alhaji Umar Babs Bodinga, participated in a cleanup campaign organized by the NPP Loyal Ladies at the New Tafo Akim Market on October 19, 2024. The event aimed not only to beautify the market area but also to canvas votes for the NPP's presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong, popularly known as Chief Buffalo.
