E/R: Abuakwa North MCE Joins NPP Loyal Ladies for Cleanup Campaign, Urges Support for Bawumia and Chief Buffalo.

In a bid to rally support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2024 general elections, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Abuakwa North, Hon. Dr. Alhaji Umar Babs Bodinga, participated in a cleanup campaign organized by the NPP Loyal Ladies at the New Tafo Akim Market on October 19, 2024. The event aimed not only to beautify the market area but also to canvas votes for the NPP's presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong, popularly known as Chief Buffalo. Abuakwa North New Force Movement Holds Youth Empowerment Walk

The Abuakwa North New Force Movement organized a walk on October 19, 2024, from Akyem New Tafo Zongo to the Akyem Kukuratumi Taxi rank in the Abuakwa North Constituency of the Eastern Region. The event attracted around 300 participants, predominantly youth, who wore T-shirts bearing the image of Nana Kwame Bediako. Mr. Attah Poku, a convenor of the New Force Movement, addressed the crowd, stating that if Nana Kwame Bediako's New Force Movement is elected, it will focus on empowering the youth with employability skills for national development. He clarified that while the New Force Movement has not yet fielded any parliamentary candidates, the movement's commitment to the will of the people will be upheld through a referendum. He assured that parliamentary proceedings and decisions would be treated with respect and diligence. The walk was organized by local representatives of the New Force Movement to engage and mobilize support within the community.

Tawiah Boateng, gathered in Kwamo near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region to mourn the passing of Dcns. Mrs. Augustina Agyei Baffour, the in-law of Hon. Tawiah Boateng.
