The Abuakwa North Municipal Health Directorate is set to roll out a Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign, offering free vaccinations for all children aged 9 months to under 5 years. This initiative aims to protect children from two highly contagious diseases that can cause severe complications such as pneumonia, brain swelling (encephalitis), and even death. The campaign, which will run from 2nd to 6th October 2024, will take place in all communities within the municipality.
