  The Kwahu East District Assembly has officially handed over a site for the construction of a 24-Hour Economy Market at Kwahu Tafo in the Eastern Region to A.B Ziko Construction Company Limited. The project is expected to enhance commercial activities, improve livelihoods, and stimulate economic growth in Kwahu East and surrounding communities. Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Hon. Samuel Asamoah, Kwahu East District Chief Executive, described the initiative as transformative, creating employment opportunities and supporting economic development. Opanyin Kwame Wadie, father of Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuahene, has donated a large quantity of assorted items to the Blessed the Children International Orphanage Home in Kwahu Nkwatia, Eastern Region, to celebrate his birthday. The donation includes an undisclosed amount of money, bags of rice, sugar, maize, gari, packs of toiletries, gallons of detergents and cleaning items, cooking oil, drinks, canned fish, and more. Speaking on behalf of Opanyin Kwame Wadie, Mr. Henry Larbi, Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, expressed happiness about the visit and stated that the donation is part of Opanyin Kwame Wadie’s birthday celebration, highlighting his concern for children's wellbeing. Madam Beatrice Yeboah, Director of Blessed the Children International Orphanage Home, thanked Opanyin Wadie and his family for the gesture, saying the items will improve the children's wellbeing and appealed for more support.
