E/R:Kwahu East Gets Boost with 24-Hour Economy Market Project
The Kwahu East District Assembly has officially handed over a site for the construction of a 24-Hour Economy Market at Kwahu Tafo in the Eastern Region to A.B Ziko Construction Company Limited. The project is expected to enhance commercial activities, improve livelihoods, and stimulate economic growth in Kwahu East and surrounding communities.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Hon. Samuel Asamoah, Kwahu East District Chief Executive, described the initiative as transformative, creating employment opportunities and supporting economic development. He noted that the project aligns with the government's vision of promoting economic empowerment and sustainable opportunities for traders and small-scale businesses.
Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah II, Chief of Kwahu Tafo, expressed confidence in the contractor's ability to deliver quality work and urged residents to cooperate with the contractor. He emphasized the importance of the facility in expanding business opportunities and boosting commercial activities in the area.
