NDC Chairman Asks for Stolen Funds Back, Promises Development
National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has issued a stern call for public officials who allegedly misappropriated funds during previous administrations to return the money, vowing that the NDC government will pursue such funds for national development. Addressing a gathering in Lower Manya Krobo as part of his thank-you tour in the Eastern Region, "General Mosquito," as he is popularly known, declared that the NDC's commitment to accountability transcends political affiliation. "Some of the NPP men have started bringing the money they stole during their turn of power," Asiedu Nketia stated, implying that efforts are already underway to recover these funds.
