  The Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abuakwa South, Mr. Aikins Ofori, who also serves as the Abuakwa South Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), has issued a strong warning to Hon. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, former Presidential Staffer under the Akufo-Addo government. Speaking ahead of today’s by-election in Akwatia, which is being held following the death of the sitting Member of Parliament, Hon. Yaw Kumi, Mr. Ofori declared that he and his team of supporters are fully prepared to resist any attempts by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to disrupt the electoral process. Over the weekend, the MP fully funded the transportation of the beneficiaries, giving them the chance to explore employment opportunities abroad. The initiative is designed to help successful candidates gain valuable skills, earn sustainable incomes, and provide support for their families back home. Constituents have commended Hon.   The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has extended educational and digital support to graduates and undergraduates in her constituency as part of her vision to empower the youth. Each beneficiary received 10GB of data valued at GHC 51 and a cash package of GHC 200. So far, nearly 400 young people have benefited from the initiative, aimed at easing the financial and digital burdens faced by students in the area. Hon. Gyan Cudjoe emphasized that education remains the backbone of development and reiterated her commitment to creating opportunities that will keep students connected, better equipped, and hopeful for the future.
