E/R:ABUAKWA NORTH GETS 24-HOUR ECONOMY MARKET AS MCE CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION
Construction has officially commenced on a new 24-hour economy market in Akyem New Tafo in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, following a sod-cutting ceremony led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Charles Darko Yeboah, popularly known as Ozey. The ceremony brought together key stakeholders including the Municipal Coordinating Director, traditional authorities, executives of the Abuakwa North Constituency branch of the NDC led by their chairman Alhaji Sadidi Mohammed, representatives from the Zongo community, staff of the Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly, and residents. Addressing attendees, the Chief of Akyem Tafo, Dasebre Adusei Piasah IV, expressed gratitude to the government for extending the 24-hour economy market initiative to the municipality.
