E/R:Abuakwa North Assembly Boosts Healthcare with Delivery Equipment for CHPS Compounds

The Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly, led by Hon. Dr. Alhaji Umar Babs Bodinga, has taken a significant step to improve healthcare delivery in the municipality. On December 3, 2024, the assembly presented 12 sets of essential delivery equipment to the Municipal Health Directorate for distribution to CHPS compounds across the municipality. The presentation took place at the assembly's forecourt in Akyem Kukurantumi, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.   Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Dr. Umar Babs Bodinga, who also serves as the Chairman of the Health Oversight Committee, explained the rationale behind the initiative.   In a gesture of goodwill and support for the upcoming 2024 general elections, Mrs. Irene Baah Asare, the Treasurer of the Abuakwa North Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP), donated packs of water and assorted soft drinks to Nopras FM and the Abuakwa North NPP Constituency Office on December 3, 2024. The donation comes as part of her efforts to ensure that stakeholders and field agents are adequately refreshed during the election period. Speaking at the presentation, Mrs. Baah Asare emphasized the importance of keeping field agents motivated and energized as they play crucial roles in monitoring the electoral process.
