E/R:Abuakwa North NPP Treasurer Donates Packs of Water and Soft Drinks to Support Election Preparations

In a gesture of goodwill and support for the upcoming 2024 general elections, Mrs. Irene Baah Asare, the Treasurer of the Abuakwa North Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP), donated packs of water and assorted soft drinks to Nopras FM and the Abuakwa North NPP Constituency Office on December 3, 2024. The donation comes as part of her efforts to ensure that stakeholders and field agents are adequately refreshed during the election period.

Speaking at the presentation, Mrs. Baah Asare emphasized the importance of keeping field agents motivated and energized as they play crucial roles in monitoring the electoral process. She explained, "During elections, various institutions deploy agents to monitor the process to ensure its smooth conduct. Nopras FM and my party, NPP, are no exception. These packs of soft drinks are meant to refresh them as they perform their duties."

Mrs. Baah Asare also took the opportunity to call for responsible media practices, urging the staff of Nopras FM to prioritize accuracy and professionalism in their reportage. “The media plays a critical role in shaping public perception during elections. I appeal to the staff of Nopras FM to avoid misinformation and disinformation before, during, and after the elections to ensure a peaceful and credible process that fosters sustainable development,” she stated.

Additionally, she encouraged the NPP party members and supporters to remain vigilant and work diligently toward securing victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections. She expressed confidence in the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the parliamentary candidate, Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong, affectionately known as "Chief Buffalo."

Receiving the donation, Mr. Awal Adam, Manager of Nopras FM, and the Deputy Constituency Secretary of the Abuakwa North NPP expressed their gratitude to Mrs. Baah Asare for her thoughtful contribution. They assured her that the drinks would be used effectively to support the intended purpose.

This act of generosity underscores Mrs. Baah Asare's commitment to fostering collaboration and ensuring a well-prepared election process. As the countdown to the December 7 polls continues, her call for vigilance and professionalism resonates with stakeholders across the constituency.
