Mr. Kwadwo Atta Apeakorang, the president and founder of the non-governmental organization Save The Nation for Future Leaders, has praised the Ghana Police Service, under the leadership of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for their outstanding display of professionalism during the National Democratic Congress (NDC)s recent "Enough is Enough" nationwide protest. Held on 17th September 2024, the demonstration called for a forensic audit of the Ghana Electoral Commission’s voter register. Residents of Opass Junction and the surrounding areas are appealing to the contractor in charge of the road construction from Opass Junction to Old Tafo Engine to expedite the project. The road has been under construction for an extended period, causing significant inconvenience and health concerns due to the heavy dust and debris generated by the ongoing work. The persistent dust is disrupting daily activities and has particularly impacted individuals with respiratory issues. Additionally, the residents are concerned about the safety of schoolchildren who must navigate the dusty roads to attend classes, increasing the risk of accidents and health problems. Upholding Respectful Discourse in Ghanaian Politics

Asante Aaron(Yaw Robinho), the immediate past Tescon President of the Kibi Presbyterian College of Education writes, John Mahama's recent remarks targeting chiefs, pastors, imams, and civil society groups are not only alarming but also indicative of a troubling trend in Ghanaian politics. By labeling these respected figures as "hypocrites" for their support of the NPP, Mahama has shown a reckless disregard for the principles of civil discourse and mutual respect that are essential in a democratic society. His assertion that had the NDC been in power, soldiers would have forcibly removed the current government is both shocking and inappropriate.
