  Addresses Deadly Road Accidents and Calls for Safety Interventions The Director-General of the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), Lawyer Abraham Amaliba, led a delegation comprising staff from the NRSA headquarters in Accra, the Eastern Regional Office, and the Eastern North MTTD Police to pay a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwahu West, Hon. Tamimu Halidu. The meeting focused on addressing pressing issues related to the Nkawkaw By-Pass section of the Nkawkaw-Kumasi Highway. Following the meeting, the team conducted an inspection tour along the Nkawkaw-Kumasi Highway By-Pass. The visit aimed to assess compliance with road safety regulations, particularly the indiscriminate parking of long vehicles—a practice that has been linked to frequent and deadly accidents in the area.
