Asafoatse Urges Youth to Shun Drugs, Social Media Immorality at Prampram Homowo

  The Asafoatse of the Prampram Lomotey-Weh Lakpleh Family, Asafoatse Tetteh Akroboso III, has decried the growing indiscipline among the youth, linking it to widespread abuse of illicit drugs. Speaking at the Prampram Homowo celebration, he said many children and students no longer respect authority figures and described the increasing involvement of young people in drug abuse as alarming. He urged Ghanaians, particularly the youth, to stay away from illegal drugs. Asafoatse Akroboso III also raised concerns about the circulation of explicit sexual videos on social media, warning that it has a damaging influence on children. He called on authorities to take decisive action against sexual immorality in the country.
