Eastern Regional Minister Wraps Up MMDCE Confirmations in Kwahu Afram Plains: Hon. Moses Tangbeh Secures 96% Endorsement
The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, has officially concluded the confirmation of all Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the region, with the final ceremony held in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District. All 33 MMDCEs across the Eastern Region have now been confirmed. The climax of the confirmation process took place at Tease, where Hon. Moses Tangbeh was overwhelmingly endorsed as the District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains South, securing 96% of the votes from Assembly Members—a strong vote of confidence in his leadership. In his acceptance speech, Hon. Tangbeh emphasized unity and collaboration as critical drivers for development.
