The Cocoa Research Institute Primary School (CRIPS) has officially reopened for the 2026/2027 academic year, with pupils welcomed back during a reopening parade held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the school’s forecourt.   Residents of Akyem Hemang in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region have called on authorities, including the District Chief Executive (DCE), Member of Parliament (MP), and the District Police Commander, to ensure justice is served in the shooting to death of Douglas Acheampong.
