E/R: AMAGYEI FOUNDATION CALLS ON TRADITIONAL AUTHORITIES TO SUPERVISE TEACHING AND LEARNING
The Chief Executive Officer of the AMAGYEI Foundation, Lawyer Ofosua Amagyei, has called on traditional authorities to play a more active role in improving the quality of education in public schools by regularly supervising teaching and learning. According to her, traditional authorities, as custodians of the land, have a responsibility to ensure that activities taking place within their traditional areas, including education, receive the necessary attention and supervision. Lawyer Ofosua Amagyei made the call when the AMAGYEI Foundation presented educational and personal-care items to 10 selected Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates from Akyem Maase in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region who are preparing to enter Senior High School.
