  Kwahu West, Ghana – In a collaborative effort to combat climate change and restore Ghana’s depleted forest cover, the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, in partnership with NADMO, the Forestry Commission, and the Department of Agriculture, has launched the “Tree for Life” campaign with a tree-planting exercise at Kwahu Ahatanan. Over 40 tree seedlings were planted during the event, including Royal Palms, coconut trees, and various ornamental species. The initiative forms part of a broader national afforestation and reforestation agenda aimed at creating a greener and more sustainable environment.
