E/R:Kwahu West MCE Urges Residents to Prioritize Cleanliness, Calls for Consistent Sanitation Efforts

  The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwahu West, Hon. Tamimu Halidu, has urged residents of Nkawkaw to adopt environmentally conscious practices and actively participate in monthly sanitation exercises to promote a cleaner and healthier community. He made the call during the observation of the National Sanitation Day in Nkawkaw, where the exercise brought together personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Assembly staff, sanitation officers, and community volunteers. The cleanup exercise aimed at reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining environmental hygiene across the municipality. Speaking after the exercise, Hon. Halidu emphasized that a clean environment not only enhances public health but also improves the municipality’s attractiveness and economic potential.
