Widow of Late DCOP Awuni Angwubutoge Faces Threats as Land Guards Invade Family Property in New Bortianor
Ten years after the passing of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Awuni Angwubutoge, his family is reeling from a brazen and unlawful invasion of their private property. Armed land guards, allegedly acting under the instructions of Roland Tetteh of Alrotech, have forcibly encroached upon the late officer’s land, sparking urgent calls for police intervention. The disputed property consists of four prime plots situated directly in front of the late DCOP’s residence in the “Red Top” area of New Bortianor, located behind the West Hills Mall. According to family representatives, DCOP Awuni held rightful and long-standing possession of the land, which has been duly registered at the lands commission Accra,securely fenced and maintained by the family for the decade since his demise.
