  Mrs Irene Baah Asare, a philanthropist and aspiring Women's Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa North Constituency, has officially filed her nomination forms ahead of the party's internal elections. The nomination was submitted on Monday, June 23, at the NPP Constituency Office in Akyem Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region, pending the party's vetting process.
