E/R: MUSEC Demolishes Unauthorized Structures Along Nkawkaw By-Pass Road
The Kwahu West Municipal Security Council, MUSEC, has commenced a demolition exercise to remove unauthorized structures along the Nkawkaw By-Pass Road as part of a broader campaign to sanitize the municipality and restore order. The operation saw the team move in to pull down several illegal structures erected along the by-pass. According to MUSEC, the buildings were not only put up without approval but also posed a security threat, with the area increasingly being used as a hideout for criminal activities. Speaking on the exercise, the Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West Municipality, _Hon. Tamimu Halidu_, said the intervention is part of a deliberate effort to protect public land and support the Forestry Commission’s greening agenda for the municipality.
