  Eastern Region– Newly elected Fanteakwa South Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Collins Agyekum, has described his election as a “call to duty” to lead the party to victory in the 2028 general elections. Speaking in his acceptance speech after the constituency executive elections held in Boso, Mr. Agyekum said the overwhelming endorsement from delegates is a responsibility he does not take for granted. “This mandate is a call to serve. It requires the support of all of us to execute our ultimate plan of returning the NPP to power in 2028,” he stated. “My first assignment is to unite the party and bring everybody on board to set Fanteakwa South on the path of progress and prosperity.” Mr. Agyekum called for unity among party members and urged all contestants to put the interest of the party first as preparations begin toward the next general election. Abuakwa South, Eastern Region – The newly elected Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa South Constituency, Adamu Fuseni, has called for unity among party members as the NPP begins preparations to recapture political power in the 2028 general elections. Speaking after his election, Mr. Fuseni expressed gratitude to delegates for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work tirelessly to strengthen the party's grassroots structures, particularly within the Zongo communities across the constituency. He emphasised that unity, discipline and hard work would be the foundation of the party's success, urging all members to put aside their differences and work together towards a common goal.
