E/R:“My Victory Is a Call to Duty”: New Fanteakwa South NPP Chairman Pledges Unity Ahead of 2028
Eastern Region– Newly elected Fanteakwa South Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Collins Agyekum, has described his election as a “call to duty” to lead the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking in his acceptance speech after the constituency executive elections held in Boso, Mr. Agyekum said the overwhelming endorsement from delegates is a responsibility he does not take for granted.
“This mandate is a call to serve. It requires the support of all of us to execute our ultimate plan of returning the NPP to power in 2028,” he stated. “My first assignment is to unite the party and bring everybody on board to set Fanteakwa South on the path of progress and prosperity.”
Mr. Agyekum called for unity among party members and urged all contestants to put the interest of the party first as preparations begin toward the next general election.
He won the chairmanship contest with 304 votes, defeating Maxi Kwadwo Appiah who polled 241 votes, Prosper Kenemausorley with 154 votes, and Stephen Gyam with 7 votes.
