The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West Municipality, _ Hon. Tamimu Halidu _, has distributed assorted start-up tools and cash support to 70 registered Persons with Disabilities, PWDs, with a strong call on them to use the items to establish businesses and improve their living standards. The support, funded from 5% of the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies’ Common Fund, DACF, included deep freezers with stabilizers, electric sewing machines, fufu pounding machines, knitting machines, Canon digital cameras, and other items. Each beneficiary received items based on their specific trade request, after assessment by the Assembly’s Department of Social Welfare. Presenting the items at Nkawkaw, Hon.
