According to the group, allegations brought to its attention include extortion, bribery, unlawful intimidation, harassment, victimisation and attempts to implicate citizens in offences they may not have committed. The Member of Parliament for Atiwa West, Hon. Laurette Korkor Asante, has presented trunks, mattresses and school bags to more than 700 newly admitted Senior High School students across the constituency. The initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and ensuring that no child misses school because of a lack of basic educational supplies.
