Valco Hall Alumni Honours Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo for Outstanding Leadership in Politics
The Alumni Association of Valco Hall at the University of Cape Coast has honoured Hon. Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North and former Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), for her exemplary leadership and outstanding contribution to Ghanaian politics. At a special ceremony organized by the alumni group, Dr. Twum-Ampofo was celebrated for her commitment to public service, particularly in the areas of education, youth development, and women empowerment. The event also recognized her trailblazing role in the promotion of TVET as a critical pathway for national development during her tenure in government. Hon.
