The Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has donated GH¢50,000 to support the Amagyei Foundation’s skills training initiative aimed at promoting youth empowerment within the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area. The donation was made when management and some beneficiaries of the foundation’s skills training programme paid a courtesy call on the Okyenhene at his palace in Kyebi, Eastern Region. The Amagyei Foundation, established as the corporate social responsibility wing of the Amagyei Legal Firm, provides legal aid, advocacy, literacy training, mediation services, and skills development for underserved communities.   All 37 Assembly Members of the Birem North District in the Eastern Region have unanimously endorsed Hon. Hakeem Antwi Abdul as the new District Chief Executive (DCE), giving him a 100% approval. In his acceptance speech, Hon. Hakeem Antwi Abdul expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Assembly Members for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to drive development and improve infrastructure and services across the district. The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey , officially swore in the newly confirmed DCE. In her address, she emphasized that the nominee was carefully chosen based on merit, competence, loyalty, and a strong commitment to public service.
