  The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has reaffirmed her commitment to improving education in the constituency through her Teacher Initiative, which has invested more than GH₵2.7 million in supporting teachers and schools over the past three years. According to the MP, the initiative, which began before she was elected to Parliament, provides a monthly educational support package of GH₵76,200 to teachers across the constituency. She explained that the programme was established out of her conviction that education remains the foundation of community development and that teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of the nation's children. She disclosed that the initiative has so far invested over GH₵2,743,200 in education, benefiting 138 teachers, supporting 8,829 students, and reaching 39 schools across more than 35 communities in Amenfi Central.
