  A self-acclaimed Akyem Abuakwa Sumankwaahene and well-known fetish priest from Akyem Kukuratumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, Torgbui Shettor, has publicly renounced idol worship and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ after over three decades of practicing traditional spirituality. Born into a fetish home and originally named Jerry Sefahu, Torgbui Shettor’s journey into idol worship began at a young age. His spiritual path took a dramatic turn when, as a Class Four pupil, he was reportedly taken into the wilderness by dwarfs for an entire year. Upon his return, he was left in a physically disabled state.
