E/R:Kwahu Paramount Queenmother Calls for Immediate Transfer of Regional Police Commander Over Chieftaincy Disputes

The Paramount Queenmother of Kwahu, Nana Adwoa Gyemfuah III, has called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, and the National Security to immediately transfer the Eastern North Regional Police Commander, ACP Kwadjo Asante, for allegedly fueling chieftaincy disputes in the Kwahu Traditional Area.   According to Nana Adwoa Gyemfuah III, instead of ensuring law and order, ACP Asante has been interfering in traditional affairs, a role beyond his mandate. E/R:108 New Crusaders Initiated into Catholic Youth Organization at Akyem Tafo

In a grand celebration of faith and commitment, 108 new crusaders were initiated into the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church under St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Akyem Tafo. The initiation took place after a three-day camping event that brought together over 300 crusaders in honor of Saint John Bosco’s feast day.   Presiding over the ceremony, Rev. Fr. Noah Tseko highlighted the crucial role of the CYO in nurturing the spiritual and personal growth of young people. He encouraged the newly inducted members to uphold the values of the organization and actively participate in its mission.   During the ceremony, the new crusaders pledged to live by the principles of the CYO, embracing their roles as ambassadors of Christ and the Church.
