E/R: Irene Baah Asare Files Nomination for Abuakwa North NPP Women's Organiser Position

Mrs Irene Baah Asare, a philanthropist and aspiring Women's Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa North Constituency, has officially filed her nomination forms ahead of the party's internal elections.


The nomination was submitted on Monday, June 23, at the NPP Constituency Office in Akyem Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region, pending the party's vetting process. Mrs Baah Asare was accompanied by dozens of party delegates and supporters who turned up to demonstrate their confidence and support for her candidature.


Addressing the media after filing her nomination, Mrs Baah Asare expressed strong optimism about her chances in the contest. She noted that the overwhelming support she continues to receive from delegates is a clear indication of their trust in her leadership abilities and vision for the party's women's wing.


She thanked the delegates for the confidence they have reposed in her and pledged to work tirelessly to empower women within the constituency and strengthen the party's grassroots structures. She further appealed to delegates to rally behind her candidature, stressing that a united and vibrant women's wing would be crucial to the NPP's efforts to maximize votes and secure victory in the 2028 general elections.


Several delegates who accompanied her also spoke to the media, describing Mrs Baah Asare as humble, hardworking, knowledgeable, responsible, and experienced. They further praised her as a unifier who possesses the ability to bring people together and foster harmony within the party.


According to the delegates, Mrs Baah Asare has consistently demonstrated dedication, transparency, and commitment during her tenure as the constituency's Treasurer. They commended her inclusive leadership style, accessibility, and respect for party members, noting that her door is always open to everyone regardless of their background or affiliation within the party.


The supporters expressed confidence that her qualities and track record make her the ideal candidate for the position and called on all delegates within the constituency to rally behind her bid. They maintained that she has the competence, integrity, and leadership skills required to effectively serve as Abuakwa North NPP Women's Organiser and help strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
