E/R: Atiwa West NDC Aspirants Urged to Run Clean Campaign Ahead of Constituency Elections

Aspirants vying for various executive positions in the Atiwa West NDC Constituency have been cautioned to run a clean campaign, with emphasis that the party must emerge stronger after the internal contest.


They noted that whoever emerges victorious will need the support of all aspirants to ensure total victory in the 2028 general elections.


Mr. Obeng Richard, who is vying for the Constituency Secretary position, speaking on behalf of his team after vetting for various executive positions at Kwabeng in the Atiwa West Constituency of the Eastern Region, appealed to fellow aspirants to campaign on issues and not attack personalities.


Addressing party faithful, elders and supporters, he called for unity and mutual understanding among members, adding that without unity it would be extremely difficult to achieve the aims and objectives of the party.


According to him, preparations for the 2028 elections must begin from the constituency level to contribute to the party's national electoral success. He described it as a collective destiny and service to consolidate and protect the legacy of President John Dramani Mahama and to prepare the party for the 2028 campaign.


He further promised that, on their part, they and their supporters would run a clean campaign devoid of insults and violence. He therefore advised supporters of other candidates to do same, stressing that the party needs to remain united before and after the elections.


He emphasized that internal elections should strengthen, rather than divide, the party and stressed the importance of unity, discipline and teamwork in building the party and winning the Atiwa West Constituency parliamentary seat for the NDC.


On his part, Mr. Antoh Theodore Lucky, aspiring Atiwa West NDC Constituency Organizer, seized the opportunity to appeal to delegates for their votes, asking for the mandate to serve with the objective to work relentlessly to secure the Atiwa West parliamentary seat and position the NDC for victory in future elections.
