Newly elected Abuakwa South Constituency NDC Deputy Youth Organiser, Mr Solomon Nana Frimpong, has dedicated his victory to the late Mr Yeboah, popularly known as Nao, whom he described as a key pillar of support during his early days in politics.
Mr Frimpong, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Frimps Company and a philanthropist, made the remarks during a get-together dinner held at his residence on October 25, 2026.
He explained that the late Mr Yeboah played a significant role in his political journey within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressing sadness that he was no longer alive to celebrate the achievement with him.
In honour of the deceased, Mr Frimpong called for a minute of silence and expressed hope that his electoral victory would bring a smile to the face of the late Yeboah wherever he may be in the land of the dead.
He also expressed gratitude to the youth wing, party executives, members of his campaign team and all supporters whose contributions helped secure his victory.
According to him, his journey in active politics was challenging, marked by personal attacks and intimidation. However, he said his faith in God, coupled with the unwavering support of his team, enabled him to overcome the challenges.
He described his victory as a testament to perseverance, persistence, determination and hard work.
Mr Frimpong pledged to serve diligently in his new role and fulfil the mandate entrusted to him by party members, assuring them that he would work hard to justify the confidence reposed in him.
The dinner brought together members of both the NDC and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who shared food, danced and celebrated in a cordial atmosphere.
The gathering was seen as a demonstration of unity and peaceful coexistence among political actors, despite their differences in party affiliation.
