Amenfi Central MP Joana Gyan Cudjoe Announces 22 Development Projects for 2025–2026
Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central in the Western Region, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has announced plans to undertake a series of development projects across the constituency between 2025 and 2026.
The projects, which span education, healthcare, security and economic infrastructure, include both new constructions and the continuation and completion of ongoing projects.
Among the projects scheduled for 2025 are the continuation of the Ankwaso CHPS Compound, construction of a new three-unit JHS block at Hiawa, continuation of the Ankasie DA Primary School, and construction of a new CHPS compound at Ankasie.
Other 2025 projects include the construction of a 24-hour economy market at Agona Amenfi, a KG block at Agona Camp, Bonsie Islamic JHS, a six-unit primary school block at Kramokrom, and a new police station at Achichire, funded through the MP's resources.
A new CHPS compound is also planned for Hiawa in 2025.
For 2026, the MP has outlined the continuation of the Sraha Ayiem CHPS Compound, construction of a police station at Sraha Ayiem through the MP's fund, and the continuation of the Wuratrem DA Primary School project.
Other projects planned for 2026 include the construction of a new CHPS compound at Jedua Kese, a new Ata ne Ata DA Primary School, a KG block at Takyikrom Sompre Junction, and the completion of a three-unit JHS classroom block at Sompre.
The 2026 programme further includes the construction of a three-unit classroom block at Bantoma, a maternity block with theatre at Manso Amenfi, and a new CHPS compound at Adidaase.
At Dwrigum, the MP is expected to continue and complete a six-unit classroom block, while the rehabilitation of teachers' accommodation is already ongoing.
The projects form part of Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe's development agenda for Amenfi Central, with the stated objective of improving access to education, healthcare, security and economic opportunities for residents across the constituency.
If implemented as outlined, the projects will add to existing infrastructure and provide new facilities in several communities within Amenfi Central.
