IGP Rewards Five Police Officers for Arrest of Kwafokrom GOIL Robbery Suspects

 

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has promoted five police officers in recognition of their exceptional efforts in the arrest of suspects connected to the robbery attack at the GOIL Filling Station at Kwafokrom near Nsawam in the Eastern Region.


The officers honoured are Chief Inspector Eric Otoo, Chief Inspector Emmanuel Otu, General Sergeant Philip Amoah, Policewoman Constable Victoria Asiedu, and Policewoman Constable Rosemond A. Frimpong.

As part of the reward package, Chief Inspectors Eric Otoo and Emmanuel Otu have been granted direct entry into the Police Academy, while General Sergeant Philip Amoah, Policewoman Constable Victoria Asiedu, and Policewoman Constable Rosemond A. Frimpong have all been elevated to their next respective ranks.


The promotions were awarded in recognition of the officers’ professionalism, bravery, and swift response, which led to the successful arrest of two suspects linked to the robbery incident at the filling station.

The IGP, together with members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), commended the officers for their dedication and commitment to duty. They also reaffirmed the Ghana Police Service’s determination to intensify efforts in fighting violent crime and ensuring the protection of lives and property across the country.
