E/R:Two Suspects Apprehended Following Violent Armed Robbery at Kwafokrom GOIL Station

The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested two individuals, Amos Boame and Collins Adjei, in connection with a violent armed robbery at the Kwafokrom GOIL filling station near Nsawam on May 24, 2026. The suspects allegedly shot a security guard and a pump attendant, but both victims are in stable condition.


A third suspect, Ashivie, is still at large, and police are actively pursuing him. Recovered items include an Alder Tupal pump-action gun, electronic shocker, cutlass, and bullet vest. The perpetrators stole Ghc 13,460.00 in cash and provisions.



The police have recovered 19 spent cartridges and one live round of ammunition from the site and urge the public to remain calm as the investigation proceeds. The Eastern South Regional Police Command is working closely with the filling station management to implement security measures to prevent future incidents.
