E/R:Kwahu West to Get Boost from 24-Hour Economy Market Project
The Municipal Chief Executive of Kwahu West, Hon. Tamimu Halidu, has officially handed over the site for the construction of a 24-Hour Economy Market to FeDems Limited in the Kwahu West Municipality. The project is expected to be a game-changer for the local economy, driving growth and creating jobs.
Speaking at the site, Hon. Halidu indicated that the contractor now has full access to the site and is expected to begin work immediately, with the 24-month project timeline already underway. He stressed the need for swift commencement of construction, noting that President John Dramani Mahama is expected to perform the sod-cutting ceremony, and visible progress must be made ahead of his visit.
Mr. Isaac Anyan, FeDems Limited Projects Coordinator for the 24-Hour Economy Market, emphasized that the initiative will become a major economic driver, boosting trading activities and creating a well-planned space with adequate infrastructure. He charged the contractor to take ownership of the project, ensuring its success within the stipulated timeframe.
