E/R:Former MP Gifty Twum-Ampofo Congratulates NPP Members in Abuakwa North After Internal Polls

The former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency, Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, has issued an official congratulatory message to members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in her constituency following their recent internal polling station elections. In a statement released on Monday, 18th May 2026, she extended her warmest congratulations to all NPP members who participated in the polls.


Hon. Ampofo commended the contestants who emerged victorious, praising their dedication, commitment, and willingness to serve the party at the grassroots level. She emphasized that their victory is not only a personal achievement but also a call to greater responsibility, unity, and hard work to collectively strengthen the party for future success.

The former MP also expressed sincere appreciation to contestants who did not win, acknowledging their courage, sacrifice, and readiness to contribute to the party's growth. She noted that elections naturally produce winners and losers, but every contestant remains an important stakeholder in the NPP's progress.


In her message, Hon. Ampofo urged all NPP members to remain united, set aside differences, and work together in the supreme interest of the party and the Abuakwa North Constituency. She affirmed that unity will help build a stronger and more formidable NPP.
