E/R:Empower Femmes Launches Menstrual Hygiene Outreach at Pano Basic School

Femicare Ghana and Empower Femmes, in collaboration with the Pano Diamond Ladies Club, organized a Menstrual Day Out event focused on menstrual hygiene education at Pano Basic School on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. The outreach program, which began at 8:00 AM, aimed to promote menstrual dignity and awareness among students, emphasizing that menstrual dignity is not optional.

The initiative brought together a team of volunteers and educators to provide essential information on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and empowerment messages to young girls at the school. The event is part of a broader campaign by Femicare Ghana and Empower Femmes to improve menstrual health awareness and reduce stigma in communities.

Organizers hope the outreach will inspire positive changes in attitudes toward menstrual health and encourage open discussions about the topic among youths. The program also highlights the partnership between Femicare Ghana, Empower Femmes, and the Pano Diamond Ladies Club in driving women's health and empowerment initiatives in the region.
