Kwahu West Municipal Assembly Holds Town Hall Meeting to Showcase Developmental Projects



The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region of Ghana has organized a town hall meeting to update residents on key developments, ongoing projects, and future plans for the municipality. The meeting aimed to provide a transparent platform for dialogue, accountability, and community participation, involving stakeholders, traditional leaders, youth groups, and civil society representatives.


The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Tamimu Halidu, reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to responsive governance and emphasized the importance of collaboration between officials and citizens to ensure inclusive and sustainable development. He appealed to stakeholders to support the government in its development efforts.



Participants commended the Assembly for its progress in education, sanitation, infrastructure development, and decongestion efforts. The meeting provided an opportunity for residents to ask questions and receive answers from the MCE, promoting accountability and transparency. Overall, the event was a satisfying experience for all involved, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
