W/R Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Appeals to Government to Fix Additional Roads in Amenfi Central

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has appealed to the government to urgently fix several deplorable roads in the constituency, in addition to those already approved for rehabilitation.


According to the MP, the poor state of many feeder and linking roads continues to affect transportation, economic activities, and access to essential services for residents. She therefore called on the government and relevant agencies to consider these roads for immediate attention to ease the hardship faced by commuters, farmers, and traders.


The roads highlighted by Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe include: Humgebire (Gate) through Ankwaso, Juabo, Wuratrem to Wasa Akropong; Wuratrem through Ankasie to Agona Amenfi; Pensanom through Obeng, Anakum, Amuni Dwirigum to Fuleso; Agona Amenfi through Kyenkyen Nkwanta, Agona Camp, Owusu Dapaa to Amonda; Kwabeng Junction through Kofi Gyan, Kyeikrom to Ashiam; Agona Amenfi to Jedua Kesse; Manso Amenfi to Kwabuakrom; Manso Amenfi to Manso Manhyia; Dominase through Asuminam and Bredi to Kwakuboa; Nkwanta No. 2 through Guabase and Ampontengkrom to Juabo; Ankasie through Donkorkrom to Jedua Asamang; Manso Amenfi to Subriho; and Manso Amenfi to Antonsu.


Other roads listed include Manso Amenfi through Adidaase, Aku Nkwanta and Antobam to Akyeamkrom; Manso Amenfi through Chichiso No. 2 to Antobam; Agyakaamanso through Anomatoa to Beposo; Beposo Junction through Natiedi to Ayigbe; Sompre Junction to Dwete; Kwakuboa to Kwabikrom; Juakwa to Ohihyeda; Dominase Nkwanta through Kokonkyea to Agyakaamanso; Dominase Nkwanta to Pramso; Ankasie to Amokrom; Jedua Kesse to Subriagya; Kyenkyenkwanta to Nuamakrom; Agona Amenfi through Agona Camp to Bredi; Kwamang through Manukrom to Nkwantanan; Suroso to Supanso; Bonuama to Agave; Hiawa through Wassa Bekwai to Gyaboase; Nkakaa to Abuom; Pensanom Junction to Kramokrom; and Agona Amenfi to Kwaadjeikrom.


Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe emphasized that improving these roads will significantly boost economic activities, enhance access to markets, schools, and health facilities, and improve the overall living conditions of people in Amenfi Central. She expressed optimism that government will respond positively to the appeal in the interest of development.
